(Silverlink) – Millions of Americans are suffering from irritable bowel syndrome; it is a gastrointestinal syndrome on the large intestine that causes symptoms like cramping gas, bloating, constipation, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
The worse part of it is that there are no conclusive tests that can diagnose the disease.
Doctors are even considering the disease to be a psychological disorder as there is no physical proof that can be diagnosed.
Dr. Mark Pimentel from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of Los Angeles has discovered a method to diagnose the disease.
He has developed a pair of blood test that can diagnose if a person is suffering from the syndrome.
